North Van Arts is hosting their annual fundraising art show - an event where I started my journey, exhibiting my first pieces of art for the public. In 2023, over three hundred local artists from across the metro-Vancouver region have created over 680 original artworks for this annual festive fundraiser.

CityScape Community Art Space in Lower-Lonsdale will be transformed into a kaleidoscopic world of wonderment, as their walls are adorned with hundreds of small 8" x 8" canvases.

Each original artwork is for sale, for $100, and buyers will support the local art community with every purchase! The proceeds from this holiday fundraiser provide significant financial support to the ongoing North Van Arts programmes and projects, while also showcasing the many local artists in the community.

The artists’ names will remain anonymous until their work has sold.  Once a painting is purchased, it is removed from the wall and replaced with a sold tag, revealing the artist’s identity.

In-person preview begins on November 18th, at 10:00 AM. The on-line sale begins on November 23rd, at 7:00 PM.  

My painting “Remember When 1” sold on opening night, and I have donated “Remember When 2” to the gallery for future fundraising initiatives.
