My journey has been nothing short of transformative. From a very early age, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. Naturally, art became an increasingly important part of my life.
Life got very busy as a mother and teacher, and the time to focus on my art diminished to almost nothing. However, in all those years, the ‘art’ was always there, waiting…
The call to creativity

Later, during a very difficult period in my life, art came back to me, and I found myself painting late at night, when I couldn’t sleep. Money and time were scarce, so I made do with budget materials from the dollar store, just so I could express my feelings of loss and grief and a deep longing for a different life, creating pieces like silent confidants.
These paintings are still with me as part of my private collection - never really to be seen.
Coping through art
A new chapter
An important turning point came when, with nothing to lose, I submitted three works for an “Anonymous Art Show” fundraiser. All three sold in a matter of hours, lifting my spirits, feeling grateful for having contributed to a worthwhile cause, and validating that I was on the right path.
Since then, I’ve fully committed myself to art, making it a central part of my life. The feel of paint on my skin - and occasionally in my hair - has become a joyful reminder of my dedication to the creative process. I’m completely “all in,” living with a passion that goes beyond work - it’s who I am.
My canvas tells stories of melancholic memories juxtaposed with jubilant experiences. Every brushstroke, every layer, is a testament to my deep-seated belief in the expressive power of art.
Today, I live and work in my studio in Ravensburg, Germany, where I continue to explore new ideas, evolve my practice, and deepen my connection to my art.
